RE: Proposed Sandy Lake Rd. Widening at Whispering Hills Dr.
Dear Commissioner Mayfield:
I am enclosing an exhibit of an area on Sandy Lake Rd. west of Denton Tap Rd.
under consideration for widening to accommodate a traffic signaI. Please provide
the City of Coppell with a cost proposal for perlbrming the work, which would
include filling of the adjacent borrow ditch, installation of a drainage culvert,
installation of CTB road base, and asphalt paving.
I met with Don Kennedy of your office at the site on December l, 2005 to look at
the area and he indicated that Dallas County could perform the work we were
proposing. We have worked with Don and his personnel on several projects over
the past few years and have been pleased with the work and cooperation with the
County in general.
