Dear Lamj:
Because of the steepness of the bank along Cottonwood Creek, where our storm sewer lines outfall, the
Coppell Municipal Utility District (MUD) expressed to us their concern about the "Type C" hedwalls
shown in our orlgln~l design. They asked us to consider an alternate design which more closely
matched the bank as cut when the pipe was Installed.
We offered the encJceed detail ss a proposed altemative. The MUD subsequently determined that the
alternative detail was Indeed the more acceptable solution. It was therefore incorporated into our plans,
and will appear on our record drawings.
