Utility Relocations
Dear Mr.:
The Bethel Road I project consists of both roadway and channel improvements. Right-of-way
acquisition and tree removal for the roadway portion (west city limits to east of Freeport
Parkway) are complete. The channel improvements include a new four-barrel box culvert
constructed across an unimproved section of Bethel Road east of Freeport Parkway. No
additional right-of-way is being acquired for the installation of the multiple box culvert and
utilities will be required to relocate in the existing right-of-way. Plans for the roadway and
channel portions of the project have been previously provided to the franchise utilities.
This project is scheduled to advertise in the 2na quarter of 2006. All franchise utilities impacted
by the proposed improvements need to initiate relocations/adjustments. A Right-of-Way Use
Permit Application and relocation plans need to be submitted to the city for approval prior to
starting the relocations/adj ustments.
