MEMORANDUM To: Clay Phillips, Assistant City Manager/Fire Chief David Miller, Police Chief Micky Harper, CISD From: Mike Martin, E.I.T., Engineering Department RE: Stream G-6 Drainage Project Date: February 24, 1995 The City has begun drainage work on Stream G-6 (refer to map) which begins behind the homes on Hawk Lane and continues south under Bethel School Road to Grapevine Creek. This project consist of regrading the stream, installing gabion walls and constructing a 10'x6' box culvert under Bethel School Road. The contractor for this project has asked the City to consider temporarily closing Bethel School Road for the duration of the project. In considering this request, the Engineering Department is contacting the Fire Department, Police Department and Coppell Independent School District to get any comments they might have. Ultimately, City Council will have to give their approval before we can allow a street closing. Attached is a map of the location of the project showing the streets of surrounding neighborhoods.
