Stonemeade-CS 921201/he City With A Beautiful Future December l, 1992 Mr. Bill Anderson Dan M. Dowdey & Associates 16250 Dallas Parkway, Suite 100 Dallas, TX 75248-2684 . RE: Stonemeade Estates Dear Mr. An~d~f~6hT----- Box 478 Ooppell, Texas 75019 214-462-0022 The City of Coppell is in the process of developing the park site immediately north and east of the proposed Stonemeade Estates. The City will be performing some improvements in the floodplain of Denton Creek. Those improvements include baseball fields, soccer fields and other amenities generally associated with park/athletic facilities. Because the construction of the baseball diamond will require the placement of some fill, the City retained Albert Halff Asso., Inc. to perform a flood study for the portion of Denton Creek contained within the park site. The final result of the flood study shows that at the very northeast comer of the Stonemeade Estates the improvements to the park will raise the 100-year water surface by 0.01 feet. This is a very negligible amount and could be attributed to quirks within the program itself. However, because it will be causing some increase to the northeast portion of Stonemeade, the City of Coppell requests that a letter be written verifying that Dan M. Dowdey & Asso., as Engineers for the Stonemeade Estate subdivision, has been made aware of the slight increase in the water surface and that the finished floors for the affected lots have been adjusted accordingly. If you should have any questions concerning this letter, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
