Please find attached a copy of the Superintendent's letter
regarding approval of the 2" sewer line at the Middle School
Athletic Complex. Since the date of my last memorandum, Staff has
worked to provide the following:
Installation of 800 linear feet of two-inch (2") sewer
pipe to the concession/restroom building.
Completed the installation of backstop overhangs to the
four-plex.
Trenching and installation of the electric line to the
four-plex.
Staff hopes to have the grinder pump installed and operational by
March 21, 1992. Baseball Association representatives are aware of
this timetable and Staff has placed two (2) portable toilets at the
restroom site for their use should the grinder pump not be
operational until next week.
Staff shall continue to monitor this matter and update you by March
23, 1992.

Dear Mr. Wieland,
I have considered your request for the City of Coppell
to install a 2" sanitary sewer line to the concession/
restroom facility located at baseball field #1 at
Coppell Middle School. It is our understanding that
this line will be fitted with a grinder pump suitable to
provide proper flow in the 2" line.
We acknowledge 'that your letter states that the line
would be installed and maintained by the City of Coppell
at no expense to Coppell Independent School District.
We would stipulate as stated in earlier agreements, any
emergency repairs or maintenance could be performed by
Coppell I.S.D. staff if attempts to locate appropriate
city staff were unsuccessful.
Please accept this letter as granting permission to
proceed with this project. You may contact Mickey
Harper to determine appropriate starting dates and any
other consideration necessary to avoid interruption of
middle school programs.
