Goram, Director of Public Works Rick Wieland, Parks and Recreation Manager~ Coppell Middle School - 1992 Ball Field Improvements (Tickler 3/12/92) Please find attached a copy of the Superintendent's letter regarding approval of the 2" sewer line at the Middle School Athletic Complex. Since the date of my last memorandum, Staff has worked to provide the following: Installation of 800 linear feet of two-inch (2") sewer pipe to the concession/restroom building. Completed the installation of backstop overhangs to the four-plex. Trenching and installation of the electric line to the four-plex. Staff hopes to have the grinder pump installed and operational by March 21, 1992. Baseball Association representatives are aware of this timetable and Staff has placed two (2) portable toilets at the restroom site for their use should the grinder pump not be operational until next week. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Dear Mr. Wieland, I have considered your request for the City of Coppell to install a 2" sanitary sewer line to the concession/ restroom facility located at baseball field #1 at Coppell Middle School. It is our understanding that this line will be fitted with a grinder pump suitable to provide proper flow in the 2" line. We acknowledge 'that your letter states that the line would be installed and maintained by the City of Coppell at no expense to Coppell Independent School District. We would stipulate as stated in earlier agreements, any emergency repairs or maintenance could be performed by Coppell I.S.D. staff if attempts to locate appropriate city staff were unsuccessful. Please accept this letter as granting permission to proceed with this project. You may contact Mickey Harper to determine appropriate starting dates and any other consideration necessary to avoid interruption of middle school programs. Teaching and Learning Together...
