DR8801-CS 880609 MINUTES OF MEETING at MINYARDS REGARDING PROPOSED BOX CULVERTS on June 9. 1988. 10:00 a.m. 88148.02 ATTENDEES: Clyde L. Minyard's Minyard's Minyard's The following items were discussed: The question was asked where the second 10' x 5~ culvert mentioned on sheet 5/7 of our plan would be located. Wayne responded that this additional culvert would be located north of Bethel. 2. Mr. Sifford stated that it could take approximately 2S0 calendar days to complete proposed drainage construction fronting Minyard~s. 3. Mr. Sifford stated that access to Bethel Road from Minyard's parking lot would be disrupted for approximately u,5 days. u,. Mr. Minyard stated that the west 17 acres of their site would be available for the contractor's use (storage and construction office). Mr. Minyard would llke to have the contractor's working area defined in front of their store at the corner of Freeport and Bethel. The use of a rent-a-fence was suggested to delineate the work area. It was requested that Mr. Lawler with Minyard~s be contacted by TU Electric and the contractor prior to any modifying of their electric facility along Bethel. Mr. Minyard asked how the alignment for the culvert had been determined. Mr. Sifford responded that the alignment along Bethel had be~ selected according to the following parameters: A. To allow the contractor working room. B. To minimize disruptions to existing drainage during construction. C. To minimize relocations of existing utilities. D. The alignment would be in the set back area. E. Utilize centerline of open channel; thus, reducing calculations. Mintes of Meeting at Minyard's June 30, 1988 Page 2 Mr. Minyard stated that he would like the City to consider moving this proposed culvert closer to Bethel. Mr. Sifford stated that the culver~ could be moved approximately 10 feet north. Mr. Ginn suggested that the final alignment be based on future right-of-way considerations. 8. Minyard's staff had a difference of opinion on water requirements for their cold storage operation. Minyard's will confirm requirements. CC: Wayne Ginn, Ginn, Inc.
