Material Specifications and Contract Documents
Dear Mr. Meadors:
Enclosed please find five (5) sets of material specification documents,
approved as noted. Mr. Don Glenn of Barton Aschman & Associates, Inc. has
been furnished with a copy of this document, and he has recommended
approval. We have no objections, as long as the following comments are
addressed:
Specifications covering the opticom detector is not included in
this document. Please use specifications regarding opticom as
noted in the final construction plans for this project,
prepared by Barton Aschman & Associates, Inc. (See attached).
As requested by Street Division, Public Works Department, it is
recommended that multi-sonic 820-A system controller be used,
instead of Econolite controller, if the price of multi-sonic
controller is comparable in price with Econolite, or only
reasonably higher. Please inform Mr. Rey Gonzales, Street
Superintendent, or myself of your findings as soon as possible.
Can Econolite controller be serviced locally? Please advise.
We are also returning six (6) sets of the contract specification documents
to you through Mr. Glenn to be completed, signed and returned for our
final execution.
