Congratulations to you and the City of Coppell in attracting the
North Texas campus of Texas A&M's Engineering Extension Service.
That facility will be a great addition to the metroplex area and to all
of North Texas.
More and more the local economy is tied to and dependent upon
the availability of a technically-conversant work force. The o. pportunities
for advanced training and continuing education that the Engineering
Extension Service represents will provide great advantages to this
area.
Existing employers and those new industries attracted to this area
will benefit greatly from this facility. Likewise, many advantages will
accrue to the regional work force in terms of improved skills and
opportunities for re-training.
This area is on the move again and the North Texas campus of
Texas A&M's Engineering Extension Service is a most fitting addition to
the momentum. Again, congratulations and thanks for all you and the
City have done to make this development a reality.
