TEEX-CS 890706Texas Engineering Extensi¢ ~ Service July 6, 1989 Dr. W,C. Stearman III Coppell Veterinary Hospital 504 S. Denton Tap Road Coppell, TX 75019 Dear Bill: Office of the Director 409'845-7225 Fax 409 - 845 · 5726 The Texas A&M University System College Station, Texas 77843-8000 I enjoyed visiting with you, Peggy Sham, and Lynn Craft Wednesday afternoon and I felt we had a very constructive meeting. In reply to the letter that you wrote pertaining to the $220,000 by the City of Coppell for the construction of the training center, I am attaching an agenda item approved by the Board of Regents at it's March 27, 1989 meeting. It specifically states that the land and building will be a gift to The Texas A&M University System for the use and benefit of the Texas Engineering Extension Service or such other System component conducting educational or training programs and activities. I would also like to advise you that all educational programs conducted by TEEX and other Parts of The Texas A&M University System are done so by full-time professional staff members. At all of our training centers, we have full-time managers in order that we can control the quality of our programs and the facilities in which they are offered. I would be happy to address any additional questions that you or any other individuals or organizations in the City of Coppell might have regarding the potential operation of the North Texas Regional Training Center in Coppell. Please let me know if I can be of any further service or provide additional information to you. James R.
