Letter of Assurance Requested by Baptist
Foundation
Mayor Wolfe has been contacted by the Baptist Foundation and
has received a request that the city provide a letter of
assurance that there is not and has not been a landfill
operation on the Baptist Foundation property (west of Denton
Tap and south of Bethel); i.e., Texas A&M facility site.
You should address the letter to Mr. Bill Blades and you may
contact him to obtain additional details as to what is
required. The Baptist Foundation's telephone number is
922-0125.
I believe I recently saw a map or maps indicating all
landfill sites, both present and past. A copy of this map
might suffice and be supporting documentation for your
letter.
