COPPELL FIRE DEPARTMENT
MEMORANDUM
DATE: February 11, 1998
TO: Ken Griffin, City Engineeri[
FROM: B. Kruse, Fire Chief ~
SUBJECT: Request For Additional Fi~e Hydrant
Ken, some time during the end of calendar year 1997 we had a
discussion regarding the need for fire hydrants within our mobile
Home parks. As I recall, I think I indicated I would provide you
with a map which marks the desired locations of our proposed fire
hydrants.
Accordingly, please find attached copies of maps which are marked
to indicate where we need fire hydrants within each mobile home
park. When spotting these proposed hydrant locations we used the
normal 600 feet spacing requirements which would be required if
these were new construction sites for residential areas.
Please review the attached maps and let me know what your
recommendations are. As always, thanks for your assistance.
By the way, we are still in the processes or drawing the Coppell
Mobile Home Park located on Coppell Road and 121.
