Dear Mr. Williams:
Your above referenced project has been reviewed byMr. Ron Morrison
with Kimle¥-Horn & Associates on behalf of the City of Coppell.
Enclosed please find a copy of Mr. Morrison's review letter dated
April 4, 1990. As stated by Mr. Morrison this is not a "final as-
built study", and it is only considered as an "interim as-built"
floodplain study.
Please note that we concur with you that all finished floors will
be elevated tWo (2) feet above the existing condition flood levels,
and it complies with the city's requirement.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,

Itc: Review of Villages of Coppcll PhasejExistlng Floodplain Study
Dear Ms. Daneshntand: [7/'
Our review of the Villages of £.oppell· Phase;~5~Floodplain Study has been completed. Before
presenting the results, the purpose of the study should be explained. This study could be
t,:~med an "Interim As~bnilt" floodplain study. It is not a final as-built study because there
is additional work left to do at the site. For this reason, the study does not need to address
the requirements of a final study.
"'!m mcdets presented in the subject study did not match those presented in the Phase I
Master Drainage Plan; which is, at present, the basis of comparison for all new studies.

The ~ubject study states that ail finished floors will be elevated 2 feet above the existing
condltJm~ flood levels. Because this is higher than l-foot above the ultimate condition flood
lev:;is, it complies with City requirements. The elevations shown t'or the Elm Fork Trinity
nmdel z, re higher than those shown for the Master Plan conditions, thus, the proposed project
.L,' ept:~ble b~sed on that model.

KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, ]NC,'.
