Dear Mr. Hinckley:
It has come to n~ attention that your sprinkler system along Denton
Tap Road may still be watering the road. I know that the road
project has forced some changes in your frontage, affecting the
sprinkler system.
My concern in particular, realizing that windy conditions may spray
the road and some runo£f is inevitable, is to reduce any chances
of this happening during freezing conditions which would create a
potential hazard for motorists.
If you would, please verify the sprinkler head's direction of spray
and get back with Ale on your findings. Please also turn off your
system during periods of subfreezing ten~eratures because systems
have been known to actuate because of the temperature.
