This set has been revised in general accordance with your written review comments dated January 19, 1999. We are enclosing the mark-ups we generated from your review comments, which may help in your review, Based on this submittal, our opinion of probable construction cost for this project is in the range of $300,000. We are enclosing an itemized tabulation of our opinion of cost for your review. If this submittal meets with you approval, we are ready to publicly advertise the project for bids. In anticipation of your acceptable review, we are enclosing two copies of the Notice To Conttacto~ for yore' use in publiely advertising the project in the local newspaper. We understand bids are to be received until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 1999. Therefore the notice to contractors should appear in the local newspaper no later than February 9tn and again on February 16t~. In addition, we are enclosing a list of contractors, suppliers and publishers we intend to notify of this project. Please look the list over and indicate any revisions required. We expect to send the notices out no later than February 9t~. Finally, we have reviewed the City of Coppell's Tree Preservation Ordinance you provided. lt~ t~ us that public utility construction and maintenance is exempt fi~rn the requu~mcnts of the ordimmce un~ier section 34-2-6 (H).
