Previous Request for Floodplain Permit for Fence (Tickler 1/17/90)
I have had that request from November 20, 1989, to today which is approximately 2 months. A
copy of the response is attached.
I have had at least 2 other responses also. The responses to those are attached also.
There are a group of 18 fences in the floodplain in the Northlake Woodlands Subdivision, that to
my knowledge have never been removed from the floodplain. As in any municipality with growth
challenges, there are a multitude of these situations existing such as the fence obstruction at
Bethel School Road and Moore Road as well as the stop sign request at Plantation and SouthernBelle.
In any case, these 3 items clears the backlog of requests from Building Inspections on floodplain
determinations (to my knowledge).
