Dear Mr. Jackson:
In reference to your letter of September 11, 1989, I refer you to the
enclosed copy of the building permit approved on July 7, 1987.
There is no indication of deficiency; either at the time of issuance or
upon inspection of the completed construction.
I do not understand initiation of a change in the city's approval two
and one-half years subsequent to your authorization to construct the
fence according to the specifications attached to the permit. I have
gotten estimates on moving the fence and it would be very expensive to
In as much as we have owned the property for two and one-half years and
have never had a problem with water flow, even during the heavy rains
and flooding earlier this year, I feel strongly that the fence should
remain as orginally approved and constructed.
