CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS/RECOMMENDATiON FOR AGENDA ITEM
Item # 7 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA DATED: 11-22-88
COMMENTS/RECOMMENDATiON:
This agenda contains two public hearings which are needed to
complete our annexation of the Vista Ridge property. We are
still negotiating the water and sewer agreement with the
City of Lewisville and hope to have developed a contract
which we can present to you for your endorsement at the time
that you finalize the annexation. We are proceeding in good
faith to advertise and hold these public hearings so that
they could culminate these discussions with annexation of
all lands prior to January 1, 1989. The City of Lewisville
is pressing hard to complete this negotiation. Even though
we do not feel the same time pressures that they are
feeling, we will work to complete this annexation this year.
As you may recall, the agreement with the City of Lewisville
stipulated that a water and
