RE: possible floodplain violation
I received a call from t_he city Manager concerning a chain link
fence that had been constructed at Riverchase golf course. I
visited T_he site and found a chain link fence had been erected
immediately south of the clubhouse. The fence is being used as a
=~vpe of back stop for the driving range. No permits have been
issued for this fence.
Please make the necessary review to determine whether or not this
fence is located in the floodplai.n. Also, please provide me with
any comments you may have concerning the fence. We will not take
any action toward the golf course until we receive all information
=hat is necessary to determine the exact disposition of the fence.
