Please find attached a Maintenance Bond for the Sanitary Sewer extension
in Sandy Lake and Denton Tap Road to service the McDonald's facility in
Coppell. I am asking for your assistance as this paperwork was left in
my in-basket and I am at a loss as to who needs copies of this as well
as who will need the original.

The condition of this obligation is such that said STEED, INC.
has entered into a written contract dated the
7th day of December , 1987 with McDONALD'S
to build and construct the sanitary sewer
extension in Sandy Lake and Denton Tap Road to serve McDonald's in Coppell, Texas
which contract and the plans and specifications therein mentioned and adopted by the
CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS , are hereby expressly made a part thereof
as though the same were written and emodied herein.
WHEREAS, under the specifications and contract, it is provided that the Principal
shall maintain and keep in good repair the work constructed and/or equipment furnished
by him as contemplated by the plans, specifications, drawings, etc., and perform for a
period of one ( 1 ) year(~) from the date of acceptance or the date of final
payment, whichever bears the later date, all necessary repairs, reconstruction and re-
newal of any part of said construction, and to furnish the labor and materials to make
good and to repair any defective condition growing out of or on accounts of the break-
age or failure of any substance or the improper function of any part of the construction
work.
NOW, THEREFORE, if said Principal shall keep and perform its said agreement to
maintain said work and keep the same in good repair for the said maintenance period
as provided above, then these presents shall bm null and void and have no further
effect; otherwise, to remain in full force and effect. It is further understood and
agreed that this obligation shall be a continuing one against the Principal and Surety
hereon, and that successive recoveries may be had hereon for successive breaches until
the full amount shall have been exhausted; and it is further understood that the
obligation herein to maintain said work shall eontinue throughout said maintenance
period, and the same shall not be changed, diminished, or in any manner affected
from any cause during said time.
