Blvd. from Coppell/Irving city limits to the MacArthur Blvd.

Dear Mr. Harrell:
As per your request for a letter explaining what it will take to
sell this project to the City, please find the following list of
difficient items needing to be resolved.
On June 23, 1988, Public Works, Water Utilities, Streets and Parks
departments performed a verification of punch list items submitted
to Nathan Maier on September 24, 1987, to be completed for final
acceptance.
The following are the remaining items that as of this date have
not been accomplished.
Water Utilities Department
2) Jet rod and vacuum sewer main free of mud and standing water.
4) 25 + 34.50 - Manhole ring needs to be reset and manhole cleaned
out.
6) 20 + 00 24" Valve needs extension
8) 25 + 00 24" Valve covered up.
11) 6 + 50 Line "A" not able to locate manhole.
Fire Department
Ail 4 punch list items have been satisfactorily addressed.
Sign/Signals Department
4) Due to poor application of railroad symbols and stop bar, they
have worn off.
- The signal pole that was destroyed by a truck has been handled
by the truck's insurance and will be installed in July. This item
should not hold up acceptance.
The other 3 items have been satisfactorily addressed.
Street Department
3) Many of the curbs have chips missing. Ail should be
with sikitop.
The patches are not holding and will need to be redone.
other 5 items have been satisfactorily addressed.
The
Parks Department
repaired
The landscaping in the 2 medians, south of Beltline/MacArthur
intersection to the city limit line at the bridge still has
not been resolved.
Additional Items (Walk-thru 6/23/88)
1) Sidewalk cracked in 7 locations.
2) 4' random crack east side under 2nd power line.
3) Mud ball holes south of Riverchase.
4) Spalling 2nd panel south of 2nd entrance from the north end.
5) Pave stones missing around sanitary sewer manhole southwest
corner, 1st entrance.
