SUB: Woodridge Channel
The lined section channel was cleaned of an average
depth of an material several years ago. The operation
took several weeks because of inadequate equipment to perform the
work. At present, I have neither the manpower or the equipment
to address the silted in condition and growth at the joints ( a
gradall and a drump truck would be the equipment of choice). I
have however requested my right-of-way crew to attempt to pull
the weeds from the joints but without resealing (hot pour needed
because of the slops), growth recurs.
