Box 17300 Fort Worth, Texas 76102-0300 RE: 404 Permit Jurisdictional Determination Grapevine 'Creek - Coppell, Texas Dear Mr. Lea: The Department of Public Works is requesting that the Corps of Engineers make a jurisdictional determination for an area in and adjacent to Grapevine Creek upstream of Bethel Road, in the City of Coppell, Texas (see enclosed maps). Also, if fill is placed in any of the yet to be delineated areas would this require a nationwide or individual permit? The County has recently acquired the property which was originally constructed as a park in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCCl. The "Park" is in a deteriorated state of repair. The County intends to restore the Park, including two (2) pedestrian bridges which have largely been destroyed, and correct an existing erosion problem. Please keep me advised of the status of my request. We would like to have a representative from our office present when the field work is done.
