RE: Traffic Signal Design for the Intersection of Denton Tap Road and Bethel Road

This letter is written as a follow-up to our meeting and discussion on Monday, January 28,
1991, concerning the proposed traffic signal pole locations for the above referenced
intersection. As agreed to during our discussion, a pedestal pole will be used in the northwest
corner until Bethel Road is widened to the west. At that time, a mast arm structure will be
installed. The attached schematic illustrates the proposed signal pole locations.
We are currently completing the preliminary signal design for the subject location. The plan
sheet(s) will show the future widening and future signal pole location. We plan to submit
preliminary plans and specifications for your review on Tuesday, February 1 2, 1991.
