Under this agreement, Barton-Aschman will serve as an extension of your city staff in support of engineering projects and issues. Under this agreement, you may use our services as much or as little as you want. (BAA) to provide professional engineering services to tile City of (:oppell, Texas. Safety studies. BAA will provide Additional Services upon written authorization by the City. Such authorization will be based upon a prior written cost estimate submitted by BAA. COMPENSATION BAA proposes to be compensated for Basic and Additional Services as follows: 1. Basic Services will be billed at the rate of $80.00/hr. 2. Additional Services will be billed on an hourly basis according to the actual hourly salary rates of employees utilized for the work. The total hourly rate for each employee will be as follows: Hourly Rate -- Base Salary + Overhead + 10% Fee Where Overhead -- 1.85 x Salary and Fee -- 0.10 (salary -F overhoad) Reimbursable costs for work performed under Additional Services will be billed at actual cost. PAYMENTS BAA will invoice the City monthly for Basic and Additional Services provided. City agrees to promptly pay (within 30 days of receipt) BAA at its office in Evanston, Illinois, the full amount of each such invoice. INSURANCE BAA agrees to maintain public liability insurance covering claims against BAA for damages resulting from bodily injury, death, or property damage from accidents arising in the course of services performed under this agreement. TERMINATION Either BAA or the City may terminate this agreement upon 30 days written notice to the other party. Location: Parkway Boulevard - MacArthur to Denton Tap MacArthur - Parkway to Belt Line Problem Statement: Citizens and City Council have expressed concern about existing speed limits on two major arterials in Coppell. Speed,limits have not been reviewed or modified for many years. The objective of this work order is to analyze existing speed limits on the arterial streets specified.
