Signalization at Bethel Road/Denton Tap Road/RFQ's
On or before October 10, 1990, we received three RFQ's in regard to
the above referenced project fromt
- Kimley Horn & Associates, Inc.
- DeShazo, Starek and Tang, Inc.
- Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc.
Staff had requested statement of qualifications from six
engineering consultant firms and had advertised in newspapers.
Only the above listed companies provided their qualifications.
City Staff has met with Staff Engineers representing above
companies and has reviewed their qualifications and related
experience. As a result, Staff recommends that Barton-Aschman
Associates, Inc. be considered to provide engineering services in
plan design, contract and construction inspection and
administration for traffic signals at Bethel and Denton Tap Road
intersection. The complete design, bid procurement, signal
installations is estimated to be implemented in a period of
approximately six (6) months, once a contract is negotiated and
executed, with the recommended consultant firm.
