On November 8~, 1994, a similar resolution was passed calling for a public hearing on December 13th,
1994. However, because of an improper notification for that date, staff has had to move the date back
to Janua~ 10th to provide the proper notification. This resolution o~y establishes the date for ~e
public hearing to consider the adoption of the Capital Improvements Plan and the ~position of ~e
Impact Fee. Info~ation conceding this issue is being provided with this packet under the work session
item discussing ~e concept of Roadway Impact Fees.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COPPELL
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
ESTABLISHING A NEW PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION OF
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN AND IMPOSITION OF THE IMPACT FEE FOR
ROADWAY FACILITIES; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas has adopted land use
assumptions for roadway facilities; and
WHEREAS, a capital improvements plan for roadway facilities has been developed
by qualified professionals, in accordance with Section 395.046 of the Texas Local
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 395.047 of the Texas Local Government Code requires the
governing body of the City of Coppell hold a public hearing to discuss the adoption of the
capital improvements plan and the imposition of the impact fee for roadway facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution, called a public hearing for said purpose
for December 13, 1994, at 7:30 p.m.; and the required publication notice for that date was
not in accordance with Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of.Coppell, Texas, shall conduct a
public hearing on January 10, 1995, at 7:30 p. m. to discuss the proposed adoption of a
capital improvements plan and the imposition of an impact fee for roadway facilities.

SECTION 2. That on or before the date of the first publication of the notice of the
aforesaid public hearing, the capital improvements plan shall be made available to the
public.
SECTION 3. That all resolutions of the City of Coppell, Texas, in conflict with the
provisions of this resolution be, and the same are hereby, repealed and all provisions not
in conflict with the provisions of this resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its
passage, as the law and charter in such cases provide.
