Traffic Control Proposal
For the Movement of Bridge Beams
Through the Intersection of
Denton Tap Rd. 8, Sandy Lake Rd.
1. Stage the trucks on Beltline Rd. at a point north of 1-635. in the srea of TXI and the
park. The eariiest mis can occur is between 9:30 and 30:00 am.
2. At the appointed time. stage one (1) truck in the curb lane of Southbound Denton
Tap Rd. near the intersection of Sandy Lake Rd
3. Stop traffic at the intersection.
4. Truck will proceed from the curb lane to the Westbound lanes of Sandy Lake Rd.
After this maneuver is successful,
5. Stage eleven (11) trucks in the curb lane of Southbou,~d Denton Tap Rd.
6. At the discretion of the City of Coppell, stop traffic for the c. omplet~on of the operation.
After the first truck has successfully negotiateo the intersection, we expect this operation
will require approximately one-half hour.
