As per last nights City Council meeting, my phone call with Kevin
Peiffer this morning, and Section 00650, Paragraph 1.4, Section B,
and Paragraph 309 of the General Conditions of the contract
documents, dealing with the responsibility of the Contractor with the
protection of employee and the public, you will notify the Contractor
of the occurrences and conditions at the Denton Tap Road/Bethel Road
intersection. The Contractor will then review and propose
enhancement to his Traffic Plan, to be implemented immediately.
I know there have been other enhancements and changes to his Traffic
Plan. Perhaps it would be productive to have a meeting with the
Contractor, City staff and your project personnel, to review and
discuss this plan in affect, so as to provide another level of
quality assurance. Please keep me advised.
