f>~--- The City With A Beautiful Futu -// , November 8, 1988 KaNan C. Vickroy 568 Lake Forest Coppell, Texas 75019 P,O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 214 - 462 - 0022 CITY MANAGER Dear Mrs. Vickroy: I would like to take this opportunity to follow-up on your letter received September 9, 1988. We are presently working on signals for the Sandy Lake and MacArthur intersection. The permanent signals at Denton Tap & Beltline are being installed. The completion date is around the end of this month. We propose to have those temporary signals relocated to the Sandy Lake & MacArthur intersection in the vecy near future. Bethel Road has been my priority for maintenance, repairs, .and rehabilitation for several years but funding has not been available to make it a more comfortable drive. It will remain a priority until funds become available because we realize it is a major western link in our thoroughfare plan. A: for the field behind your house, which the City does not own, I had contacted our Fire Marshal, Troy Glide~ell who enforces our high weed ordinance. I am not aware however whether it was mowed a£ter my original contact with you. If it hasn't, I recommend that you contact the Fire Marshal directly at 462-1133. t had my street crew remove most of the dirt which had accumulated in the alleyway and the short dead-end street On September 19, 1988. They also tried to afford some drainage so that it wouldn't accumulate again. I am afraid however that until that dead-end street is completed the problem may recur. If it does and we haven't noticed it, please give us a call. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to give me a call at 462-8495.
