RE: Project # DR 94-01 / Shadowridge/Devonshire Drainage Improvements
I was asked to attend the yearly Devonshire Homeowners meeting on October 24, 1994 to give
an update on the referenced project. My presentation was only one part of the meeting and there
were no approvals sought by myself from the Devonshire Homeowners Association. My
presentation was only informational on what we were doing and the proposed timetable.
Because I was only a participant, I did not feel it was my place to invite Mr. Delvo.
Mr. Delvo has been kept aware of what is happening. He has even visited Town Center and
reviewed the final plans. There are no "cards" that are not on the "table". Mr. Delvo has
reviewed the plans and has stated that he is not pleased that we are proposing a channel as
opposed to enclosing the ditch area. Unless Council directs otherwise, it is my opinion that we
have reached a final decision in the design. Because of grade and cover problems, an enclosed
system would have been more expensive and would have required the removal of fences to
regrade yards and install yard inlets.
I called Mr. Delvo on December 8th and December 12th and left messages for him to call me
to schedule a meeting. He ha~ not remmcd

The current status is: 1) we are advertising for bids; 2) we will open bids on 12/29/94; 3) we
will bring the bid forward on 1/10/95 for award to the low bidder.
