Sidewalk and Ramp Construction
Dear Mr. Ash:
The City of Coppell received your letter dated January 5th and accepts your plan to
reconstruct and/or repair damaged ADA ramps and sidewalks that were originally
constructed during the infrastructure portion of the project. Final acceptance of the
individual lots, however, will be dependent upon completion and compliance of the ADA
ramps and sidewalks for those lots.

Approved plans tbr the above referenced project require the installation of City approved
and ADA compliant handicap ramps at various locations. Those romps have been
completed, however, some romps have been slightly damaged during the construction of
fi'anchisc utilities and office buildings on thc site. Construction will continue in the areas
of these ramps, so there is high likelihood that more damage may occur.
We would like to request your approval to dct~er any repairs or reconstruction of these
ramps to the time when the joining sidewalks are constructed. At that time, major
construction in the areas of the ramps will be over and the sidewalk and ramps [nay fl~cn
be constructed according to the City and ADA requirements. Final inspection of the
ramps and sidexvalk by thc City will occur at that time. In the interim, the ramps x~,ill not
be considered cnmplete and will not be included in the l:mal Acceptance o[ the major
constpaction items on the project.
