Per >>> Suzan Taylor 01/20/06 3:54 PM >>> Per: We do have lighting on Bethel Road included as part of this project. The engineer has shown the pole foundations and wiring on the plans and there will be a lumina/re in the median nose on each side of the Royal intersection. Since we have the lighting do we want or need the extra height? am sorry about all the questions, but I do not understand traffic signals. >>> Per Birdsal101/20/06 1:16 PM >>> Susan - The lighting question is a Coppell Engineering call. Do we have median lighting planned for Bethel Road? Royal is lit to the North but not to the south. We have not put luminares at any other intemection because of the roadway lighting. The extra height wouldn't be bad but it may change our signal specifications for all future signals. Lighting would have to be specified to not run through the battery back- up system. Stop line detection is fine. Per >>> Suzan Taylor 01/20/06 8:05 AM >>> Per: TranSystems has a few more questions - I will send him the Fairway and Natchez Trace plans. Hopefully this will get them finished with the traffic signals. Thanks >>> <mrwahlstedt~transvstems.com> 01/19/06 9:19 AM >>> Thanks...I think we are getting close, but a few more questions: 1. We ars not desiging lighting as a part of this project. Since thers will not be continuous lighting along the roadway, do you want to include it at the intersection? If not, do you want us to provide lumina/re arms/taller poles for camera mounting and for the yagi antenna, or just the yagi antenna, or none? 2. It sounds like we only need to provide stop line detection at the intersection (no advance detection)? 3. We did not get copies of the Fairway or Natches Trace projects. Could you send us a copy of those signal plans? Per - Sorry about your loss. Mike
