ST9301-CS060118January 18, 2006 COFFELL Doug Lovern, Right-of-way Agent TXU 115 W. Seventh Street, Suite 725 Fort Worth, TX 76102 East Sandy Lake Road Project # ST 93-01 Dear Mr. Lovem: In 2002, we provided Sandy Lake Road plans to Jon Scarborough concerning the reconstruction of East Sandy Lake Rd. On July 9, 2003, Mr. Scarbomugh responded back to the city that the transmission lines across Sandy Lake Rd. would need to be raised 1 V2 foot or the road would need to be lowered 1 V2 foot. In April 2003, the city finalized a contract with Jacobs Civil Inc. to redesign Sandy Lake Rd. to lower the profile. Part of the scope was that Jacobs Civil Inc. would work directly with Mr. Scaroborugh on the appropriate location and amount to lower the roadway. In November 2003, Jacobs Civil Inc. provided revised plans to the City of Coppell and on November 17, 2003 those plans were forwarded to Mr. Scarborough and copied to Brian Williams and Shannon Gray showing that the road had been lowered to satisfy the clearance requirements for the TXU transmission lines. I hope this has adequately answered your concerns and if you should have any additional questions please feel fi'ee to contact me. Sincerely, Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
