We do have cable & conduit that runs along the west side of Royal, and I
believe that AboveNet is in the same running line. More than likely,
I'll work with Pete Nielson at AboveNet, and see what we can put
together.

Mike:
I know that AT&T and AboveNet have a manhole on the north side of W.
Sandy Lake and the adjustment of this manhole was the only utility
adjustment that was going to be required as part of this project. We
have started construction and the utility locates show that an AboveNet
cable is located in the ditch west of Royal Lane. This portion of Royal
Lane is included in this project and it appears that the AboveNet cable
is in conflict with the proposed improvements. We are constructing two
additional lanes and the cable will be under the road and storm sewer.
If the cable is not buried very deep, it will almost surely conflict
with the storm drain improvements.
I do not know if you are in a joint trench with AboveNet down the west
side of Royal Lane, so I will contact AboveNet also. I will send the
plans sheets showing the conflict. If you do have facilities that
conflict, they will need to be relocated immediately. Please let me
know if you do have facilities and when they will be relocated.
Thanks
