Subject: DeForest Lift Station Pricing Request
Dear Mr. Ferrara:
Please provide pricing information for the following items at the DeForest Lift Station:
1. Provide and install an additional support under the 30-inch resilient wedge gate valve located
at the east end of the valve vault.
2. Provide and install two (2) clevis pipe hangers on the 8-inch surge relief piping in the valve
vault. Install one hanger immediately south of the 90 degree elbow off Valve V-1. Install the
other hanger immediately south of the tee between Valves V-2 and V-3. Submit information
on the proposed hangers along with the pricing.
3. Remove the existing 16-inch buried gate valve located approximately 5 feet south of the 45
degree bend at the connection point with the new 16-inch ductile iron force main. Remove the
existing 16-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) from this bend to the valve.
Provide and install additional 16-inch ductile iron piping from the original connection point (at
the 45 degree bend) to the new connection point (at the south end of the removed valve).
Connect the 16-inch DI piping to the 16~inch PCCP.
