Dear Ms. Childers:
This letter is written as a follow-up to my November 4, 2005 Notice to Proceed letter. In
the Notice to Proceed it was noted that City Council had authorized up to a $30,000 bonus
as an incentive to complete the project early. As of March 7, 2006, one hundred thirteen
(113) calendar days have been used on this project. The additional bonus was set up to
encourage early completion on the project at around one hundred twenty (120) calendar
days, which will be Tuesday, March 13, 2006. For every day yon work beyond March
13, 2006 up to April 12, 2006, the bonus amount will decrease by $1,000/per day.
To date, the project has progressed consistently and in a timely manner. Our hope is that
thc total completion of the project will also be performed in a very timely manner, thereby
entitling your firm to a portion or all of thc additional bonus for early completion.
