Suzan,
As it happens, I went by the Bethel Road project site yesterday evening
on my way back to Lewisville after bouncing back and forth between
meetings. I saw the work that had been done on the big culverts to
bring the storm runoff to the upper end of the channel there at Freeport
Parkway. Was going to give you a call tomorrow to see what the schedule
was for the rest of the project and find out if the design had been
finalized yet. I went ahead and took pictures of the section that was
finished. It did look nice. Are you planning to plant the finished
area now or wait until all of it is done?

I know that you think that Bethel Road has been forgotten but we are
slowly making progress. We hope to advertise in July 2006. We met
with
one of the landowners about the drainage easement and he is agreeable
we just have to work out the details. We will meet with the other
landowner next week and hopefully work out something with them.
TranSystems has basically finished the plans but I found several
mistakes that need to be corrected before I send them to you so that
you
can get them to the Corps. We have finished constructing a portion of
the channel to the south of Bethel Road and it looks really nice.
I will get back with you when we have these issues finalized.
