Subject: W Sandy Lake Road
The reconstruction of the intersection of Coppell Road N with W, Sandy Lake Road is part of the W.
Sandy Lake Road project. The city closed Coppell Road N. during the week of March 12, 2006 (spring
break) in order to install the proposed 48-inch storm drain improvements. The proposed storm drain is
generally located under the centerline of the existing Coppell Road, During the installation ofthe pipe
today, the contractor came across a 24-inch steel encasement pipe that is in conflict with the proposed
storm drain. We do not know who owns the encasement pipe. Would you please look at the attached
plan sheet showing the approximate horizontal and vertical location of the conflict and let the inspector
know if it is or is not your facility - Larry Davis at 972-304-3684.
We have less that a week to complete the storm drain installation and need to have the conflict resolved
as soon as possible. Your consideration of this matter is appreciated.
