Dear Mr. Hauglie:
As close out of the above referenced project approaches, the City of Coppell would like to bring
some concerns to your attention:
1. Concentrated flows from the northern portion of the site are draining to the TxDOT ROW.
These flows are in turn causing erosion and the deposit of sediment onto the ROW.
2. Flows from the southern portion of the site are not reaching inlets and are pooling. The
stagnant water may be subject to Code Enforcement if it becomes a mosquito breeding
ground and mosquitoes become a nuisance.
3. The southernmost driveway off of MacArthur Blvd was constructed within a few feet of a
tree that was existing on the site. The tree is causing a near vertical slope at this location and
has the potential to be a safety hazard.
Please give some consideration to these concerns and provide a response to our office. We would
