The purpose of thIS letter IS to direct you to stop the placement of the embankment process on the
referenced project untIl the demolItIOn and clearmg of ROW IS complete and debrIS IS hauled from
the sIte. ThiS work shall be done m accordance wIth Pay Items #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #7, Addenda No
1, Item # 1 and N CTCOG Items 3 1 and 3 7
There are eXIstmg storm dram pIpes to be removed that are covered wIth fill materIal, damaged
newly-mstalled storm dram pIpe that IS covered wIth fill materIal, eXIstmg asphalt pavmg that IS
covered wIth fill materIal, debrIS that was pushed from the embankment that IS now covered and
materIal that was rejected for use as embankment that has smce been mcorporated mto the filled
sectIOn.
AddItIOnally, all valves, manholes, etc must be located, cleaned and adjusted. ThIS wIll reqUIre
coordmatmg wIth the cItIes of Dallas, Irvmg & Coppell to msure that all these facIlItIes are located
and adjusted accordmg to the reqUIrements of each City
I have been trymg to get these thmgs accomplished smce the fill operatIOn began on the eastbound
lanes wIth no success We have now gone as far as we can go until each of these Items has been
addressed.
