Enclosed please find a set of constructIon plans and specificatIOns for the above referenced
project. The project consIsts of the removal and replacement of the eXIsting traffic signal at the
mtersectIon of Belt Lme Road and MacArthur Boulevard, and the mstallatlon of a new traffic
signal at the mtersectlOn of MacArthur Boulevard and Bethel School Road Bids were opened on
May 2, 2006
Please submit a proposal with an estimate of the type and number of construction matenals tests
reqUIred for the project based on the plans and speCificatIons, and the City'S standards. SectIOn 5,
DescnptlOn of Pay Items, m the speCificatIons provides detail on the scope of the work mvoIved
m each pay Item. Standard construction details can be found on the CIty'S webslte
(www CI coppelI tx.us) The contractor IS responsible for payment of matenaIs testmg done before
8 00 a.m. and after 5 00 p.m., and for any re-testmg.
