Dear Mr Dry
Enclosed please find a set of construction plans and specifications for the above referenced
project. The project consists of the installation of approximately 168 linear feet of 18 -inch slotted
drain, one 2 -grate inlet and approximately 50 linear feet of 18 -inch RCP Bids will be opened on
May 4, 2006
Please submit a proposal with an estimate of the type and number of construction materials tests
required for the project based on the plans and specifications, and the city's standards. Section 5,
Description of Pay Items, in the specifications provides detail on the scope of the work involved
in each pay item Standard construction details can be found on the city's website
(www ci coppell.tx.us) The contractor is responsible for payment of materials testing done before
8 00 a.m and after 5 p.m., and for any re- testing.
