ConstructIOn Plan ReVIew Comments
Dear Mr HamIlton.
The CIty of Coppell has revIewed the revIsed plans for the referenced addltlon. These plans
meet our current mmlmum standards wIth the exceptIOn of the followmg comments
Grading Plan:
Will any measures be necessary to prevent erOSIOn at the locatIOns where run-off wIll flow over
the edge of pavement mto the proposed dramage swale?
Drainage Area Map:
Coordmate wIth the CIty of Coppell Parks Department regardmg the constructIOn of the
proposed dramage swale and proposed gradmg south of the SIte. PrOVIde documentatIOn of that
department's approval of the proposed gradmg work mcludmg the removal of any off-SIte trees.
The portIOn of the swale conveymg dramage toward Bethel Road should be deSIgned through
Lot 2 mstead ofthe adjacent lot.
Utility Plan:
Remove the leader from the note that refers the contractor to the standard detaIls for asphalt
repair ThIS note apphes to the sewer hne mstallatIOns, also
Once these changes have been made, please submIt three sets of reVIsed final constructIOn plans
for the CIty Engmeer's stamp and as many copIes as necessary for your contractors' constructIOn
operatIOns. All contractors and subcontractors onslte must have a copy of the plans stamped and
approved by the CIty of Coppell
All fees must be paid pnor to release of thIS project for constructIOn. The CIty charges a 2%
mspectIOn fee for all pnvate constructIOn outSIde the bmldmg's footpnnt.
ThIS would mclude dIrt work, pavmg, storm dram, water hnes, sewer hnes,
dramage pIpes, etc that are pnvate
For all mstallations m pubhc nght-of-way, the CIty of Coppell charges a 4% fee A check for
mspectIOn fees made to CIty of Coppell should be submItted to thIS office along wIth a copy of
the contract(s) wIth the appropnate 2% and 4% calculatIOns shown for venficatIOn purposes. If
