ST9301-CS060509 , Keith Marvin - Sandy Lake at Mclnnish Park TCP ~=_ P~g~1J From" To Date Subject: "Matthew Hotelling" <Matthew Hotelling@cityofcarrollton com> <kmarvin@ci coppell tx. us> 5/9/2006 4 25 15 PM Sandy Lake at Mclnnish Park TCP Keith, This intersection is a tough situation You told me last week that it should be only a month or so before the traffic is switched back to its normal sides Here are my thoughts 1 I think the most effective would be to add temporary yellow skip stripes through the crossover from the lane divider between the two way traffic to the nght side of the median island 2 Add an additional stop sign for the WB left turn bay next to the lane line inside the barrels 3 Add a Keep right sign to the end barrel location at the intersection These three items should give those turning into the park and leaving the park some better guidance Let me know what you think. If you have any questions, let me know My day tomorrow looks fairly open in the morning I have a meeting in the afternoon at 3 00 PM If you want to meet out there let me know Thanks Matt Matthew J Hotelling, PE Transportation Engineer City of Carrollton 1945 E Jackson Rd Carrollton, TX 75006 ofc 972-466-3050 fax 972-466-3193 "Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becominq" - John R Wooden CC "Tom Hammons" <Tom Hammons@cityofcarrollton com>, "Cesar Molina" <Cesar Molina@cityofcarrollton com> ~ t W-~ /-r~
