Our survey crew visited the site this morning
Based on the location that Skaggs potholed to discover the Explorer
Pipe Line, we find the top of pipe at Elevation 501 84
The flow line of the 24" Storm line at Sta 27 +93 is estimated to be
Elev 509 0 which allows for approximately 7 feet difference
More critical is the top of the 48" storm at Sta 27 +19 Our best
estimate is approximately Elev 504 which allows for approximately 5
feet of difference
Using 24 inch casing the cover over and under the proposed water line
will be less than 18- inches. Although this is not 'problematic, it does
require a sensitive boring operation.
We trust that this information is helpful to the City with respect to
the field change of the bore elevation where it crosses the DART ROW
