Dear Mr Noga.
Pursuant to our conversation yesterday regarding a request for the City's most recent appraisal of the
vacant maintenance facility at 732 DeForest Road, I am enclosing a copy of the salient facts extracted
from the appraisal report itself for your review
This particular maintenance facility in the City has become surplus property due to the construction of
our new maintenance facility m another part of our commumty City Council requested that staff
prepare the necessary documents to seek formal bids on this particular piece of property, and those
bids will be accepted on Apnl 14, 2003
It appears through our perusal of state law regarding the release of public information that appraisal
reports, such as the one prepared on this property, can be protected in order that the public can enjoy
the same benefits as a pnvate entity would have with regard to land sales.
