Phone # Phone # Fex # Lloyd Mauch, Parks Operations Supervisor Re Denton Tap Irrigation Bob Jones the Crew Leader in charge of turf maintenance on Denton Tap Rd. reinstalled the Scorpio irrigation controller that was in front of the Diary Queen While Bob was installing the controller he went down through some of the irrigation that was reinstalled by the contractor putting to the water line Here are some of his findings that we need addressed before it would be worth our time on a walk- through on this project. All irrigation heads need to be 4" Rainbird 1804 Sampras We had already talked to the contractor about this and apparently still not resolved. Valves need to be 1 ' /" Weathermatic 11024FCR -15D Plastic Valve Contractor installed 1 " valves they are wrong size and brand. Valve Boxes have no gravel in the bottom of them and they are setting high and low throughout and need to be level with ground. Heads are too high and low also. Top of head needs to be level with dirt or ground, not turf They do not have the proper electrical connections for the solenoids on the valves. Electrical tape is not appropriate Must have waterproof connectors made for irrigation solenoids Some of the Existing valves that were not replaced have the wires missing. They either cut and pulled the u ires out of valve box or did not hook them back up at all Cc John Elias, Parks Manager Cc Keith Marvin, Civil Engineer
