Subject: Bethel Rd signing on the SH 121 corridor
Dear Mr Witt.
This letter is in response to your letter dated February 27, 2006, requesting
adding Bethel Rd to the Bass Pro Rd signing along the new SH 121 corridor
TxDOT can only sign the road name that crosses the highway The name Bethel
Rd does not begin until approximately '/ mile east of SH 121 which is the
Coppell City limit.
To make Bethel Rd eligible for signing, the City of Coppell would have to work
with the City of Grapevine to change Bass Pro Rd name to Bethel Rd from the
center line of SH 121 to the east to the Coppell City limits If this change is
made, TxDOT will sign both names, Bass Pro Rd and Bethel Rd
