The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct a public meeting to discuss
transportation improvements to the SH 114 and SH 121 corridor adjoining the north boundary of
DFW Airport The meeting will be held at the Grapevine Convention Center (South 1209 Main
Street, Grapevine, Texas) on Thursday, February 23, 2006 Displays will be available for viewing
at 6 00 p m, with a presentation beginning at 7 00 p m
The Notice of Public Meeting will be published in the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth
Star-Telegram on Sunday, January 22, 2006 and Sunday, February 12, 2006 The Notice will also
be published in the Coppell Gazette on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 and Wednesday -
February 15, 2006, and published in the Grapevine Sun on Thursday, January 26, 2006 and
Thursday, February 9, 2006 For your convenience, a copy of the public meeting notice, a project
location map, and a map to the Grapevine Convention Center are attached

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct a public meeting to discuss
transportation improvements to the SH 114 and SH 121 comdor ad~ommg the north boundary of
DFW Airport. This comdor, known as the "Funnel Project" is defined as SH 114 from Business
114E west of Grapevine to International Parkway and includes SH 121 from SH 360 to FM 2499
The meeting will be held in the City of Grapevine at the Grapevine Convention Center located at
South 1209 Main Street, Grapevine, Texas, on Thursday, February 23, 2006 Displays will be
available for viewing at 6 00 p.m., with a presentation beginning at 7 00 p m
This Public Meeting will present the results of the alternative analysis to improve mobility m the
corridor and discuss the next steps in the study process. These results include the Technical
Committee's recommendation for the Preferred Alternative to improve mobility along the
SH114/SH121 comdor Maps, drawings, and other information about the project will be on
display, showing location of the study comdor and suggested transportation alternatives, as well
as inforniation on study approach and the alternative analysis Project personnel will be on hand
at the displays, to assist in orientation and interpretation of the drawings and other material on
hand, and discuss possible mobility and environmental effects of the project.
Each attendee will have the opportunity to provide the study team with comments and
suggestions by participating in the public comment portion of the meeting or by written
comments Such comments and suggested solutions will assist project personnel with the
planning and environmental decisions associated with this study All interested citizens are
invited to attend this public meeting. Verbal and written comments from the public may be
